Rona Mentari, born on September 23, 1992 in Yogyakarta. She is an accomplished young woman who makes Indonesia proud through storytelling. She is the founder of the Mentari Storytelling House (Rumah Dongeng Mentari) in Yogyakarta, and she is also the founder of the National Storyteller Festival "Awicarita Festival" in Yogyakarta.

In 2018 Rona had the opportunity to study in depth for four months with 18 world storytellers from around the world with different backgrounds. She received a scholarship from the International School of Storytelling, England.

Through storytelling, Rona can change herself from a shy person to full of confidence. And through storytelling, Rona finds her calling: to spread messages of kindness to others through storytelling.
