Born in Jakarta, 29 April 1976 is a mother and the founder of Taman Bacaan Pelangi a non-profit organization focused on promoting literacy in remote areas of eastern Indonesia.
Nila opened the first Taman Bacaan Pelangi children's library in Roe Village, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia in 2009. Why books you may ask? Nila believes that books can spark our imagination which can evolve into dreams. That is why Nila feels it is so important for all Indonesian kids to have equal access to books.
