Hera Diani is a mother, a Journalist, Author, Speaker, and the Managing Editor/Co-Founder of feminist webmagazine Magdalene.co. With professional journalism experience spanning 20 years, Hera has worked at The Jakarta Post, Jakarta Globe and Voice of America. Her works have also appeared in a number of publications such as Foreign Policy, South China Morning Post, The Diplomat, and Strategic Review.

Hera’s graphic memoir, “38 and Pregnant” was published in July 2018. She has translated and edited books as well, including “Menjadi Perempuan” (2018) and “HerStory” (2020).

Now, in her 40+ years, she still passionate about women and on issues that promote equality, empowerment, pluralism and tolerance that are fundamental to the building of a progressive and forward-looking society.
